Securing and developing export markets is vital to the future of the Australian citrus industry. That's why Citrus Australia is once again bringing together growers, packers, service providers, researchers and regulators for its annual Export Forum.
The aim of this event is to gather all of the export orientated interests; skills and experience in one room - to stimulate breakthrough thinking and efficient planning that will help to secure the future of the Australian citrus industry. We anticipate the 120 strong audience will represent at least 90 per cent of the citrus export volumes.
The 2012 event will be held over two half days with a social evening in between. It will feature speakers and panellists including major exporters, AQIS, Biosecurity Australia and industry leaders. The program will be highly interactive with an emphasis on consolidating access to existing markets, developing new markets, coordinated marketing, and setting export investment priorities.
